front of the house

Two days later and they have the second floor framed! Amazing!

basement stair well

This shot is looking down into the basement stairwell. 'Well' is a good description as there is about 3 inches of water down there. They still hadn't been able to supply power to the sump and we had some tremendous rains for a couple of days.

dining room

Looking into the dining room from the foyer, you can see the two windows that face the neighbors house.

family room

Standing in the kitchen, you can see the family room and the three windows that face the woods. The morning room is off camera to the right.

living room

Here you can see a better shot of the living room -- flip back and compare it to the picture that was taken on the third to see a dramatic change!

morning room

Standing in the kitchen, you can see four of the five morning room windows that face the woods behind the house. I believe the windows face North-West.

morning room from the outside

This is a good shot of the morning room windows from the back yard. Below are a couple more shots of the back-side of the house.

back of the house

Despite the mud, I decided to walk around in the back yard so that I could get a good shot of the back of the house. You can see the three family room windows on the right and some of the morning room windows on the left.

back of the house

Here's another shot of the back of the house with a better view of the morning room.

woods

According to the developer, the woods behind our house cannot be torn down and made into houses as it is designated a "wildlife buffer" or something to that effect. Off to the right, you can see the back-side of a house that is going in; after that, it's woods and a small creek (more on that later.)
