This Savannah, Georgia based society has been formed for the enjoyment of its members and the education of the public in the keeping of orchids. Some of the many society benefits include; monthly meetings, an informative newsletter, an orchid resource library, a spring show, participation in the Coastal Empire Fair, as well as greenhouse tours and guest speakers.

Monthly meetings include discussions of society business such as upcoming shows both in and out of the immediate area. Also, we invite guest speakers from all over the world to speak and give presentations. Educational lectures on specific species' care and propagation, disease control, native orchids, exhibiting, and many other topics are covered. Additionally monthly meetings offer raffles for orchids, opportunities to contact buyers and sellers, and a 'show and tell' of what the members have blooming!

Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7 pm, at Stewart Hall, First Presbyterian Church, 520 East Washington Ave, Savannah, GA. Annual membership dues are only $15.00 per year (not pro-rated), per person and renewable each year on September 1st or $25.00 for a family membership. We are now offering a Lifetime Membership for $100 individual or $160 family. Paid members are eligible to vote for officers, and receive our helpful newsletter.
